LPN/RN Unit Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated LPN or RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team at The Greens at Gastonia, a recognized Great Place to Work for four consecutive years. As a Unit Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of your assigned unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care while supporting and mentoring nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities on the unit
- Ensure care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards
- Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nurses and nursing assistants
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance efforts
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current, unrestricted North Carolina LPN or RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Previous long-term care experience required
- Prior nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
