JOB PROFILE: PREFAB PRODUCTION LEVEL 5 PLUMBER
US-Offsite is seeking an experienced Level 5 Plumber to join our skilled Production team in our modular construction manufacturing facility. Working across residential and commercial construction projects, this position plays a key role in delivering high-quality plumbing systems within a fast-paced prefabrication environment.
This is a senior-level, hands-on plumbing position for an experienced professional who brings strong residential and commercial plumbing expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to quality. The Level 5 Plumber will work collaboratively with Production leadership and the plumbing team, provide technical guidance and mentorship to developing team members, and help ensure plumbing work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, applicable codes, and company quality standards.
WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED (Minimum Requirements):
- 5+ years of advanced plumbing experience, with demonstrated experience installing both residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Commercial plumbing experience is required.
- Demonstrated mastery of plumbing means, methods, systems, and installation practices.
- Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and plumbing documentation for residential and commercial projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Experience coordinating work crews, equipment, materials, and project requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, regarding technical building details and production requirements.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented production environment while independently managing assigned responsibilities.
- Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and ability to consistently meet established work schedules and production expectations.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (Preferred Requirements):
- Experience working in prefabrication, modular construction, manufacturing, or another production-based construction environment.
- Familiarity with other building trades and systems, including framing, electrical, HVAC, and utilities, with the ability to effectively coordinate plumbing scope across multiple trades.
- Proven experience coaching, mentoring, and developing plumbing team members.
- Experience identifying opportunities to improve installation methods, material efficiency, quality, and production workflows.
- Strong knowledge of applicable residential and commercial plumbing codes, quality standards, and safety requirements.
WHAT YOU ARE GREAT AT (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):
- Perform and support the installation of plumbing systems within US-Offsite's manufacturing facilities for residential and commercial modular construction projects.
- Execute advanced plumbing work while maintaining a high standard of workmanship, accuracy, efficiency, and code compliance.
- Review plumbing plans, specifications, and project requirements to support constructability, streamlined manufacturing, and efficient material use.
- Apply residential and commercial plumbing expertise to identify potential conflicts, constructability concerns, and code requirements throughout the production process.
- Proactively collaborate with Production leadership, Design, and other trades to develop effective solutions to plumbing and coordination challenges.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and hands-on training to developing plumbers, helping team members advance their skills and knowledge from Level 1 through Level 5.
- Support Production leadership in coordinating plumbing activities, priorities, manpower, materials, and workflow as needed.
- Help foster a high-performing plumbing team characterized by accountability, professionalism, collaboration, respect, and quality workmanship.
- Maintain consistent communication with Production leadership regarding project progress, material needs, technical concerns, and potential delays.
- Follow and reinforce company safety standards and applicable OSHA requirements to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain clean and organized production areas and proactively identify and address potential hazards.
- Safely load, unload, move, and stage building materials and equipment as required.
- Safely operate approved equipment and machinery when trained and authorized to do so.
- Consistently demonstrate punctuality, reliability, professionalism, and accountability in support of production schedules and team operations.

SCHEDULE:
- Full-time: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
COMPENSATION AND CAREER GROWTH:
- Starting salary: $40.00/hour
- Opportunities for performance-based increases
