Midwest Furniture Liquidators is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Furniture Sales Associate to join our team.
We are a busy furniture showroom open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, serving customers throughout the Chicagoland area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a consistent weekend schedule with uncapped commission earning potential.
As a Furniture Sales Associate, you'll help customers find the perfect furniture for their homes while providing an exceptional shopping experience from greeting through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide outstanding customer service.
- Help customers select furniture, mattresses, and home décor that fit their style and budget.
- Learn product features, warranties, and financing options.
- Meet and exceed sales goals.
- Process customer orders accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Follow up with customers regarding special orders and deliveries.
- Keep the showroom clean, organized, and inviting.
- Work as a team to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous furniture or retail sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a commission-based sales environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
