Operational Manager – Columbus Market
Reports to Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the production team daily to maximize efficiencies, productivity, and opportunities.
- Ensure all necessary materials, labor hours, photos, and other pertinent job-related documents assigned to the production team are recorded and uploaded in company software daily.
- Ensure scheduled work is completed as planned, or is unscheduled, put on hold, or split as necessary according to circumstances, and update company software daily.
- Ensure equipment maintenance checklists are completed daily.
- Ensure trucks are loaded correctly daily.
- Ensure the production team wears high-visibility clothing and hard hats daily on all job sites.
- Ensure the production team properly waters plants and sod at every installation daily.
- Ensure trucks are properly coned off and parked correctly in communities daily.
- Ensure lot cleanup and waste management are completed correctly at all job sites daily.
General Responsibilities
- Enforce company safety, maintenance, and quality policies and standards within the production team.
- Create and maintain a positive, can-do culture among the team. Identify key influencers and ensure they share company values. Make changes as needed to remove poor performers and negative influences. Promote and invest in people who will help accomplish team goals and benefit the team.
- Hold people accountable by praising strong performance and enforcing corrective action on items that need to be stopped, changed, or improved. This includes verbal warnings, written warnings, suspensions, and termination if needed (in that order).
- Monitor material usage, care, and stock levels; report concerns, shortages, or reorder needs promptly.
- Ensure potential future equipment operators and leaders are taught, invested in, and developed.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
