We're seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. You will prepare, process, and move inventory productively, safely, and accurately, ensuring timely fulfillment, precise inventory control, and a seamless flow of product from receipt through shipment.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, safety-minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with systems, processes, and cross-functional teams.
This position begins as a temp-to-hire role, with the opportunity to convert to a full-time, permanent position after a 3-month span based on performance.
What You'll Do
- Stack and store merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull, or other powered equipment.
- Pull and prepare products for shipment, performing picking duties efficiently while meeting customer service standards.
- Ensure the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped, and move product from staging or storage areas into trailers.
- Handle material and warehousing duties end-to-end: receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and delivering.
- Receive, unpack, and check goods against purchase orders or invoices, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
- Maintain records of goods received and merchandise shipped, post weights and shipping charges, and prepare goods for final shipment.
- Prepare kitting packages for assembly or shipping.
- Maintain inventory accuracy within established guidelines through data entry and cycle counting.
- Operate all equipment safely and efficiently, and keep work areas clean and organized.
Must-Haves
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 2+ years of related warehouse or industry experience.
- 1+ yrs of forklift experience
- Ability to pass and maintain organizational forklift certification.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx, and/or DHL package shipping systems.
- Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory-control processes within an ERP system.
The Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift. Overtime may be required based on business necessity.
- Physical demands: standing and walking for a significant portion of the shift; frequent bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, squatting, pushing, and pulling; lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Work environment: exposure to variable temperatures and moderate equipment noise, working around lift trucks and other material-moving equipment.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
