Resort Maintenance Technician (Handyman/Handywoman) – Brainerd, MN
Calling all handyman or handywoman type workers! Penmac Staffing is hiring a Resort Maintenance Technician to support a beautiful resort property in the Brainerd area. If you enjoy hands on work, variety in your day, and working in a scenic environment, this could be a great fit for you. Requirements for the Resort Maintenance Technician
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and minor electrical work
- Strong customer service skills when interacting with guests
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Willingness to learn different aspects of general resort maintenance
- Previous maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
Resort Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Complete assigned maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately
- Troubleshoot and resolve facility and infrastructure issues with team members
- Assist with on-site property improvement projects
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and tractor/loaders
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced resort environment
- Respond to guest maintenance requests in a professional manner
Pay & Benefits for the Resort Maintenance Technician
- Pay: $17.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience
- 1st shift 7am-3:30pm typical schedule with some rotational afternoons mixed in. Weekend Availability is a must
