Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, with an emphasis on pediatric and early intervention cases.
- Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing safety.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care strategies.
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist from an accredited professional body.
- Proven experience working in school settings or pediatric environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech, voice production, and swallowing functions.
- Experience conducting patient assessments and designing effective therapy programs for diverse populations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology pertinent to speech-language pathology and early intervention services.
