Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. We need 3 day shifts currently 9-5. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within our clinic. This position requires a compassionate individual who is skilled in both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible service and phlebotomy.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Facilitate effective patient service by addressing inquiries and providing information regarding treatments and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow and quality care delivery.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training is preferred.
- Proficient with Phlebotomy and lab work.
- Experience with medication administration in an inpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with internal medicine practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to inhalation therapies or other specialized medical procedures.
