Overview
We are hiring a proven Superintendent who can run commercial projects in active healthcare environments including medical offices, hospitals, labs, as well as other commercial/ industrial businesses. This position requires someone who has real healthcare remodel experience as well as ground-up healthcare and commercial experience.
Duties
- Oversee all construction activities on-site, ensuring work progresses according to plans, schedules, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with specifications.
- Conduct regular construction inspections and quality audits to identify issues early and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Minimum 5 years experiences as a lead commercial Superintendent.
- Direct experience in hospitals, acute care and healthcare construction. New and remodel projects. Verifiable references mandatory.
- Supervise site safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and enforce OSHA regulations to promote a safe working environment.
- Review technical drawings, plans, and specifications; provide feedback or adjustments as needed for practical execution.
- Lead problem-solving efforts on-site by addressing unforeseen challenges efficiently while maintaining project momentum.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction supervision with a strong background in documenting field changes and daily reports.
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling, project management principles and MP&E design build principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality control and inspection processes within construction environments.
- Hands on experience to teach others how to complete certain finish carpentry tasks.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for clear collaboration with stakeholders at all levels. Must have Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
