About the Role:
We’re looking for reliable, friendly, and professional on-call bartenders to join the Chikis team for private events. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys bartending, connecting with guests, and bringing a fun but polished vibe to events.
Chikis will handle the main setup and breakdown for now. Bartenders will mainly focus on serving drinks, following the event menu, keeping the bar area clean, and representing the Chikis brand with confidence and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Serve cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks at private events
- Follow Chikis drink menus, recipes, and presentation standards
- Greet and serve guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude
- Check IDs when needed and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Know when to refuse service for guest safety
- Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and photo-ready
- Restock cups, mixers, garnishes, and supplies during the event
- Communicate with the Chikis team throughout the event
- Help with light bar cleanup after service
- Represent Chikis in a professional, stylish, and respectful way
Requirements:
- Bartending experience preferred
- Must have or be willing to obtain California RBS certification before first event
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must have weekend and evening availability
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable working private events where alcohol is served
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must follow Chikis dress code and event guidelines
- Positive attitude is a must

You’re friendly, dependable, confident, and know how to make guests feel welcomed. You can stay calm during busy service, follow a menu, keep the bar area looking cute, and bring good energy while still taking alcohol safety seriously.
