Panel Shop Foreman
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Shop Foreman to join our team. The Panel Shop Foreman is responsible for the day to day supervision and coordination of tasks and projects assigned to the panel shop for general fabrication and assembly. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience overseeing industrial electrical instrumentation and experience reading schematics and panel layouts. Candidates with Industrial Technology educational experience may also meet qualifications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assign work to personnel; supervise to ensure they are performing to potential.
· Oversee assembly of panels from parts and materials, including weldments.
· Ensure repair and maintenance of shop equipment is performed.
· Ensure work is executed in the most effective manner in regard to time, cost and function.
· Direct the daily work activity of shop personnel.
Qualifications:
· Able to interpret plans, drawings and blueprints to develop finished product.
· Able to assemble panels to specifications.
· Possess strong leadership skills.
· Strong communication skills within team as well as with other departments.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Prioritize and plan work activity.
