Position Overview
Meineke Car Care Center is seeking a high-performing Multi-Shop Automotive Operations Manager to oversee several shop locations, drive operational consistency, develop store-level leaders, improve customer experience, and increase sales and profitability across the market. This is a hands-on leadership role for an entrepreneurial, data-driven operator who enjoys managing multiple teams, identifying performance gaps, solving problems in real time, and using metrics to drive measurable results across more than one location. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment and bring strong ownership, sales leadership, operational discipline, and accountability to every shop they support.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Shop Operations & Workflow Management
· Oversee daily operations across multiple shop locations, ensuring each store follows consistent processes from initial customer contact to final vehicle delivery.
· Guide bay management, workflow, and production standards across assigned shops to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and within standard repair times.
· Monitor real-time performance across locations, including sales, production, conversion, labor, gross profit, ticket average, and customer experience metrics.
· Ensure each location maintains proper authorization, documentation, estimate accuracy, and workflow discipline.
· Review daily financial reports by location and use performance data to identify opportunities, adjust priorities, and improve results across the market.
Leadership & Store-Level Team Development
· Lead, coach, and support shop managers and employees across assigned locations.
· Partner with store leaders on staffing, scheduling, training, performance accountability, and daily execution.
· Support hiring, promotions, corrective action, and leadership development with sound judgment and professionalism.
· Build a consistent culture of accountability, professionalism, customer focus, and operational excellence across all assigned shops.
Sales & Customer Experience
· Ensure each location delivers high-quality customer interactions and strong call-to-appointment conversions.
· Audit digital inspections, estimates, and repair recommendations for accuracy, consistency, and sales effectiveness.
· Drive revenue growth across locations through effective sales practices, financing options, repair prioritization, and follow-up processes.
· Support resolution of escalated customer concerns and ensure consistent, best-in-class service experience across the market.
Financial & Business Performance
· Own sales performance, profitability, and operational efficiency across multiple shop locations.
· Monitor location-level and market-level business indicators and adjust strategies to meet targets.
· Ensure accurate estimates, work orders, parts processes, and daily financial controls across assigned shops.
· Use sales, labor, production, gross profit, ticket average, conversion, and customer retention metrics to make informed business decisions.
Compliance & Quality Control
· Enforce company policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements across all assigned locations.
· Ensure proper handling of customer payments, data security, documentation, and financial controls at each shop.
· Help prevent fraud, theft, unauthorized work, and process breakdowns through regular audits, coaching, and accountability.
Work Schedule & Expectations
· Minimum 5 days per week, including Saturdays, as needed to support shop performance and operational coverage.
· Flexibility to travel between assigned locations and work additional days or extended hours based on business needs.
· Must be physically present in assigned shops on a regular basis, remote work is authorized.
· Expected to ensure strong leadership coverage, operational continuity, and consistent execution across locations.

· Provide strong field leadership, front-counter support, and customer engagement when visiting each location.

- Exempt salaried position (weekly pay via direct deposit).

Qualifications
· Proven experience in automotive service management, multi-unit operations, district management, shop leadership, retail operations, or a similar high-volume customer-service environment.
· Strong leadership, coaching, sales, operational execution, and multi-location management skills.
· Ability to manage staffing support, scheduling standards, workflow, customer concerns, and daily business performance across several shops.
· Comfortable reading reports, comparing location performance, analyzing trends, and making data-driven decisions.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams.
· Experience with shop management, digital inspection, parts, or workflow systems such as Tekmetric, AutoVitals, MarcheX, PartTech, or similar platforms preferred.
