Key Qualifications:
- Current EIPA score of 3.5+ with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Approval; candidates with a 3.0-3.4 EIPA and ISBE Interim Approval also encouraged to apply
- BEI or NIC credentials accepted if accompanied by ISBE Approval
- Experience interpreting within school settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate in educational environments
- Passion for fostering inclusion and advocating for students’ communication needs
Schedule Options:
- Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:30pm, split between two schools (Grades K-12)
- Part-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm at the high school (Grades 9-12)
- Contract runs from August 10th, 2026 (includes Institute/Training Days) through May 20th, 2027

- Interpret classroom instruction and school communications for Deaf or Hard of Hearing students
