Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning, demolition, and debris removal to prepare damaged areas for restoration
- Execute fire restoration procedures, including soot and smoke removal, odor control, and structural cleaning
- Conduct water damage restoration tasks such as water extraction, drying, and moisture detection using specialized equipment
- Apply mold remediation techniques to identify, contain, and eliminate mold growth safely and effectively
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, repair, and construction tasks within restoration projects
- Assist with asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols when necessary
- Support carpet cleaning and other surface cleaning efforts to restore property appearance and hygiene
- Follow established safety guidelines and industry standards throughout all restoration activities
Skills
- Experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, fire and water damage restoration processes, and mold remediation methods
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction skills for repair work
- Ability to operate specialized equipment such as moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, and extraction units
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance during hazardous material handling like asbestos or mold
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
- Willingness to learn new techniques related to restoration industry standards

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
