Job Summary
We are seeking a CDL Passenger Driver to join our team! In this driver's position, you will provide safe, reliable, and friendly transportation services to passengers, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized assistance.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) to transport passengers in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist passengers boarding and exiting the vehicle, providing courteous support especially for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those needing behavioral management.
- Communicate effectively with passengers using clear English or bilingual skills; provide information about routes, stops, and safety procedures.
- Complete accurate documentation of trips, passenger counts, incidents, and vehicle inspections as required.
- Respond promptly to passenger needs or emergencies, coordinating with dispatch or emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL with passenger endorsement; experience in passenger driving or commercial driving preferred.
- Proven experience in paratransit services, bus driving, or commercial driving is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse communities effectively.
Pay: $1,005.00 - $1,540.00 per week
