Team Lead
Our restaurant is looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Team Lead to join our team. This position is for someone who can work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, help keep customers happy, and lead by example.
The Team Lead will be responsible for helping run shifts, supervising 2–4 employees, and making sure daily tasks are completed properly. On any given day, this position may include making pizzas, making dough, cooking, washing dishes, waiting on customers, stocking, cleaning, and helping wherever needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise 2–4 employees during assigned shifts
- Make pizzas, dough, and other menu items as needed
- Cook, prep food, wash dishes, clean, and help with daily restaurant tasks as needed
- Wait on customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Help keep customers happy and handle problems professionally
- Communicate clearly with the Assistant Manager, Manager, and Owner
- Help keep employees on task and make sure work is completed properly
- Close the cash register at the end of the shift
- Prepare deposits as required
- Follow food safety, cleaning, and restaurant procedures
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Must have a Food Safety Manager Certification valid in Mississippi
- Must be friendly, dependable, and responsible
- Must be a fast learner
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Must be able to problem-solve and stay calm during busy times
- Must be able to cook and help in all areas of the restaurant
- Must be able to communicate well with employees, management, and customers
- Must be willing to work as part of a team and lead by example
Schedule:
This position can either be part-time or full-time. Shifts are mainly evenings and weekends. Two weekends per month are required, and one weekend off per month is guaranteed. 8 or 10 hour shifts available for full time and maximum of 6 hour shifts available for part time.
Restaurant is closed on Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Pay & Benefits:
Starting pay is $12.00 per hour plus tips (after training week). All staff, except owner and manager, participate in tip sharing which increases actual pay per hour by several dollars an hour. First performance review at 3-6 months. Some weeks overtime may be available, for full time employee only.
