Job Summary
Served as a Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Lead and Business Analyst responsible for leading enterprise-wide PeopleSoft HCM implementations, enhancements, and production support. Partnered with business stakeholders, HR teams, and technical teams to analyze business requirements, design functional solutions, configure PeopleSoft HCM modules, and deliver scalable HR technology solutions. Led end-to-end project delivery across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance standards, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Led the implementation, enhancement, and support of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 applications across multiple HR business functions.
- Gathered, analyzed, and documented business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions.
- Conducted business process analysis, gap analysis, and process re-engineering to improve HR operations and system efficiency.
- Designed functional solutions and translated business requirements into Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and technical design specifications.
- Configured and supported PeopleSoft HCM modules including Human Resources, Compensation, Position Management, Performance Management (ePerformance), Learning Management, Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition/Candidate Gateway, and Employee/Manager Self-Service (ESS/MSS).
- Collaborated with development teams to design, configure, and implement system enhancements, customizations, interfaces, and integrations.
- Developed complex PeopleSoft Queries and advanced SQL (DQL/DML) scripts for reporting, data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Designed and validated reports to support HR operations, management reporting, compliance, and decision-making.
- Defined data flows, integration requirements, and cross-functional business processes between PeopleSoft and enterprise applications.
- Facilitated design review sessions, functional walkthroughs, and stakeholder meetings to ensure business alignment.
- Coordinated with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, IT, Project Management Office (PMO), and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Planned and executed System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Managed production support activities, performed root cause analysis, resolved application issues, and coordinated defect resolution.
- Reviewed project deliverables to ensure quality, completeness, compliance, and adherence to organizational standards.
- Developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, training materials, process documentation, and knowledge transfer documentation.
- Identified project risks, managed issue resolution, tracked deliverables, and supported project planning and resource coordination.
- Provided leadership and mentoring to functional consultants, business analysts, and junior team members throughout project lifecycles.
- Supported enterprise HR transformation initiatives, organizational restructuring, compensation projects, position management enhancements, and timekeeping system integrations.
