Chicago Cardiology Institute is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Electrophysiology (EP) team serving the Schaumburg and Oak Park communities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cardiovascular APP or a new graduate with a strong cardiac background and interest in electrophysiology to build specialized expertise in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders.
You'll work alongside an experienced cardiology team in a collaborative environment with the opportunity to develop your EP knowledge while maintaining a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no call responsibilities.

Work closely with experienced cardiologists and the broader cardiovascular care team

Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular and electrophysiology conditions

Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
-
Participate in the ongoing management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other cardiovascular conditions

Review diagnostic testing and clinical data to support patient treatment plans

Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other members of the cardiovascular care team

Educate patients regarding their diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and cardiovascular health

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Develop expertise in electrophysiology within a supportive cardiology practice

Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Active, unencumbered Illinois NP or PA license, or ability to obtain prior to start

Previous electrophysiology or cardiology experience as an APP or Registered Nurse is preferred

New graduates with a strong cardiac, CVICU, telemetry, electrophysiology, or cardiovascular background are encouraged to apply
