Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Distribution Control Associate to support shipping, receiving, stockroom, and inventory operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a motivated individual who is comfortable working on their feet, handling inventory, and ensuring accurate material movement using SAP and shipping systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
- Verify packing lists, quantities, and shipment conditions.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick kits, replenish inventory, and perform cycle counts.
- Process inventory transactions accurately in SAP.
- Prepare and package outbound shipments using DHL, FedEx, and other shipping systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution team.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, stockroom, or inventory operations.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn or use SAP.
- Experience with shipping software such as FedEx or DHL is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills and inventory counting experience.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and walk throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Valid California Driver's License preferred/required.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SAP inventory transactions.
- Familiarity with FDA Quality System Regulations (21 CFR Part 820), ISO 13485, or ISO 9001.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or medical device environment.
