Assist the eye doctors
Help patients with their vision

We have an amazing staff member who will be moving out of state. Therefore Vision Source Mandan is looking for a positive and friendly individual to join our team and help us take care of our patients’ eyes! We need a motivated individual who can help the eye doctors with patients during eye exams by performing diagnostic testing and assisting in the patient experience. Our clinic provides high-quality family eye care services in addition to helping patients address a wide variety of medical ocular needs. Check out our website at www.visionsource-mandan.com
Role:
- Conduct preliminary testing for the eye doctors
- Perform diagnostic testing as needed by the eye doctors
- Teach patients about proper contact lens handling
- We utilize technology in our clinic so familiarity with a computer is a must.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced busy environment.
- Must have attention to detail; patient records must be correct!
- Prior optical or optometry experience is preferred but it is not required! We will provide on-the-job TRAINING.
- This position is full time. We typically start the day around 7:30 to 7:45 AM to be ready for patients at 8:00 AM.
- Smile and enjoy the ride! We get the privilege to help people see more clearly every day! What a fun job!
- There is room to grow in this position as many of our front desk staff have moved on to assisting the doctors more directly with testing as well as helping patients one-on-one in the optical with their eyeglasses. Our staff love to be cross-trained and help in many areas of the clinic.
