American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum position requiring a minimum of 3 years of MBU experience and NJ or compact RN licensure.

Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum unit in a hospital setting

Patient ratio of 1:4

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
-
Floating required to a Level II Nursery as needed, limited to the lowest acuity newborns
-
Floating required within a network of up to 5 hospital locations based on need and within skillset
-
Block scheduling is not permitted

Active NJ RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS and NRP

Minimum 3 years of Mother-Baby Unit (MBU) experience required

COVID-19 vaccine required — no exemptions

Flu vaccine required — no exemptions

Two current professional references required for consideration

First-time travelers are accepted, though experienced travelers are preferred

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but qualify for a reduced local pay rate

RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — requests submitted after that point will not be accepted
