Administrative Coordinator

Good Shepherd Funeral Home is seeking a compassionate, professional, and highly organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting our staff and serving families with care, professionalism, and attention to detail during meaningful moments in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Provide administrative and clerical support to funeral home staff
- Maintain organized records, files, and scanned documents
- Assist with day-to-day office operations and scheduling needs
- Greet and assist families and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner
- Manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Collect initial information from hospitals, nursing homes, hospice staff, law enforcement, or family members when a death occurs
- Coordinate communication with removal staff and funeral directors
- Assist with preparation and processing of death certificate information and related documentation
- Enter and maintain information within funeral home software systems and state electronic records systems
- Prepare appointment materials and documents for funeral directors
- Accept and process payments for services rendered
- Assist with mailing and distribution of death certificates and related paperwork
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

- Previous office, administrative, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
