Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing menu offerings through creative mixology and spirits knowledge
- Process cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling records
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met by adhering to proper food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar areas, and dining spaces to uphold high hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Demonstrated proficiency in beverage preparation, mixology, wine knowledge, and spirits experience
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with beverage recipe development and crafting unique cocktails is highly desirable
- Hospitality industry experience with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences is preferred
