Incoming Quality Technician

About the Role
Nutra Connection is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Incoming Quality Technician to join our Quality team. In this role, you will help ensure that incoming raw materials, components, in-process products, and finished goods meet established quality specifications before they are released for use or distribution.
The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, proactive, and takes pride in accuracy. You will work closely with our Quality, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Production teams to identify and resolve quality issues and help maintain the high standards of our manufacturing operation.
What You'll Do
- Sample and inspect incoming raw materials and packaging components according to established specifications.
- Review and disposition incoming materials to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Disposition in-process products and finished goods in Batchmaster.
- Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming materials and products.
- Work with the Quality team to support corrective and preventive actions when quality issues arise.
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to investigate and resolve material non-conformances.
- Work closely with the Warehouse team to ensure ingredients and components are properly released and available for production.
- Support the shelf-life extension and material recertification program.
- Coordinate samples for laboratory testing and track sample submissions and results.
- Create and print updated labels for recertified materials.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
- Provide backup support to the Quality Inspector as needed.
- Follow company quality, GMP, and safety procedures.
- Take initiative to identify opportunities for improving quality processes and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, preferably in the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and team members.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow tasks through to completion.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of FDA and GMP requirements is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Service-oriented and goal-driven mindset.
- Proactive, innovative approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
