Overview
We are seeking a loving and enthusiastic childcare teacher to join our team. This teacher would primarily work with 2–3-year-old children. A full-time teacher is preferred but part-time availability will be considered. Schedules are flexible and there are no set shifts with possible hours ranging between 6:30 in the morning to 5:30 at night. Most full-time staff work 4 long days and 1 half day per week. Pay is based on education and experience and will be discussed as part of an interview. A background check is required by state law. Excellent attendance and the willingness to leave your personal phone put away are expectations to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist children to participate in the planned daily lesson activity.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom environment
- Encourages exploration, independence, and creativity to form a launchpad for lifelong learning in the children cared for
- Engage children in teacher led play that support childhood development and builds relationships
- Provide love, support, and discipline to establish a strong foundation for life skills
- Constantly provide active supervision for children in your care
- Encourage growth and development intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's needs and growth.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities
- Follow and update individualized care plans for each child
- Complete continuing education as required by the state and to maintain the center's quality rating.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred
- Any experience caring for children is required
- Familiarity with expected developmental growth and behavior patterns
- Experience with care routines such as feeding, diapering, naps, and behavior management
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents and co-teachers
- Ability to create an inclusive environment supporting children with diverse needs

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
