Position Summary
Hepar Bioscience is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Utility Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position responsible for assisting production operators, supporting daily plant operations, and performing a variety of tasks throughout the facility. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys teamwork and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, maintains a positive attitude, and is willing to step in wherever needed to help keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist operators with daily production activities.
- Perform a variety of general labor and manufacturing tasks throughout the facility.
- Move raw materials, finished products, and supplies as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (or obtain company forklift certification).
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures, GMPs, and plant policies.
- Support production during changeovers, maintenance activities, and other operational needs.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred but not required.
- Forklift experience is a plus; willingness to become forklift certified is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attendance record and dependable work ethic.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds or more.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
- Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
