Duties
- Perform exterior renovations such as siding installation, roofing repairs, stucco application, and masonry work with precision and efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively on various projects
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for framing, concrete forming, metal stud framing, and restoration projects
- Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and timelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on construction sites
- Complete detailed documentation of work performed, including inspections, measurements, and project progress reports
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques including roofing, carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, plumbing, and remodeling
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project implementation
- Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, caulking guns; power tools including drills and grinders; welding equipment; and fabrication tools
- Experience with construction estimating to evaluate project costs and resource needs
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures on construction sites
- Ability to perform metal stud framing, tile laying, concrete forming, stucco application, and restoration work with precision
- Demonstrated handyman experience across multiple trades such as masonry, plumbing, welding, and general repairs
