WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The Plant Administrator provides administrative support to the Plant Leadership Team and site departments, including Human Resources, Safety, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and Operations. This position coordinates office operations, onboarding, training records, plant documentation, employee communications, and engagement activities to support a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operation.
In this role, you will:
Administrative & Leadership Support
- Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager, Plant Leadership Team, and site departments.
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, meeting materials, and plant communications.
- Coordinate meetings, visitors, travel, catering, conference rooms, and site events.
- Process receipts, invoices, purchase requisitions, expense reports, and other administrative transactions.
- Maintain office supplies, filing systems, plant records, and document-retention requirements.
- Organize and distribute SOPs, JSAs, work instructions, policies, forms, and employee communications.
- Serve as a primary contact for employees, vendors, visitors, and contractors.
Training & Onboarding Support
- Maintain employee training, qualification, attendance, sign-off, and electronic learning records.
- Coordinate new-hire schedules, orientation materials, paperwork, badge access, and introductory meetings.
- Schedule required HR, Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Operations training.
- Track training completion, follow up on overdue requirements, and prepare compliance reports.
- Coordinate employee training rotations and prepare training materials, rosters, and evaluations.
- Support improvements to the plant’s training and qualification programs.
Human Resources Support
- Maintain confidential employee records and compliance documentation.
- Support recruiting, interview scheduling, onboarding, form management, payroll processing, and HR audits.
Safety & Quality Support
- Maintain controlled safety, environmental, and quality documents.
- Coordinate records and materials for audits, inspections, regulatory visits, contractor orientation, and compliance training.
- Track corrective actions and prepare safety communications, quality alerts, agendas, and meeting minutes.
- Assist the Safety and Quality teams with audits and compliance activities.
Employee Support & Engagement
- Coordinate recognition programs, employee events, service awards, celebrations, and meetings.
- Support wellness, community outreach, and employee-engagement initiatives.
- Develop newsletters, bulletin boards, digital signage, and other plant communications.
- Perform other administrative and cross-functional duties as needed.

BRequired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, HR, training, safety, or similar support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and other business systems.
- Strong communication, organization, planning, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, maintain confidentiality, analyze data, and prepare reports.
- Ability to coordinate training programs, maintain accurate records, and support employees at all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Operations, or a related field.
- Manufacturing or union-environment experience.
- Experience with an LMS, payroll, HRIS, UKG/Kronos, SAP, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with adult learning, instructional design, safety, quality, environmental programs, or continuous improvement methods such as 5S, Lean, WCM, Six Sigma, or TWI.
Physical and Work Requirements:
- Ability to work in an office and industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, read, write, communicate, use a computer, and perform repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to occasionally climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to enter production areas and wear required personal protective equipment.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is $ 44,000.00 to $69,000.00 per year.
However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 7% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $47,000.00 to $73,800.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and, by nature, can vary based on company and individual performance and are not a guarantee.
