We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Conduct vital signs checks and maintain accurate patient records.
- Be able to take good quality intra-oral and pano radiographs.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patients.
- Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry settings.
- Stay updated on medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
- Must be able to document patient visit in a thorough manner.
Experience
- Previous experience in a general dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and practices is essential.
- Knowledge of wellness scans with itero is a plus.
