Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for the Community Clinic in Springdale, AR. The ideal candidate will be a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) and/or a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). They will provide comprehensive women’s health services, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care, in alignment with Community Clinic’s mission to advance equitable, community-based healthcare. The provider will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care that supports the diverse needs of the communities we serve.
Essential Job Responsibilities

Practices within the scope of competency as an WHNP or CNM.

Conducts thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients.

Provides comprehensive women’s health services, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care.

Diagnoses and treats a wide range of medical conditions, including chronic diseases and acute illnesses.

Uses established evidence-based clinical protocols.

Uses all Clinic resources to improve patient outcomes, including behavioral health consultants, Diabetic Educators, audiologists, etc.

Keeps abreast of current trends in health care including attending regular and required continuing education programs.

Maintains compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

Participates in quality improvement initiatives to advance maternal and child health outcomes.

Ensures clinical notes are entered in the patient’s electronic medical record in an accurate and timely manner, according to industry standards and Community Clinic policy.

Adheres to and commits to the mission of Community Clinic. Reinforces the mission with staff and promotes the mission to the community.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing or Midwifery from an accredited program required

Current certification as a WHNP and/or CNM required

Current BLS certification required

DEA registration and prescriptive authority in AR (or ability to obtain) with prescriptive privileges required

Experience in an FQHC or other ambulatory care setting preferred

Spanish and/or Marshallese language ability preferred
