Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain audiovisual equipment including video conferencing systems, sound systems, control systems, and digital signal processing devices.
- Troubleshoot AV system issues efficiently using schematic reading, electrical troubleshooting skills, and software diagnostics to minimize downtime.
- Operate live event AV production projects, ensuring high-quality audio and visual output for conferences, meetings, and special events.
- Perform routine maintenance on AV equipment and cabling infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Read blueprints and electrical schematics to accurately install and troubleshoot complex AV systems aligned with engineering standards.
- Manage control system programming for AV setups to automate functions such as lighting, audio levels, and video switching.
- Provide exceptional customer service by supporting clients’ technical needs before, during, and after events or installations.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles and low voltage wiring techniques.
- Proficiency in computer networking concepts relevant to AV systems including IP-based video conferencing solutions.
- Experience with control system programming (AV systems) such as Crestron, Extron or AMX platforms.
- Skilled in equipment troubleshooting across audio, video, control systems, and digital signal processing devices.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics specific to AV system installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with telecommunication standards and electrical experience related to AV infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with field service tasks including cabling, equipment installation, mechanical assembly, and use of hand tools.
- Knowledge of video conferencing operation systems and live event AV production workflows.
- Capable of implementing audio systems in various environments while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on engineering troubleshooting for complex AV setups.
