Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to deliver outstanding meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep to streamline kitchen operations
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential
- Experience in fine dining or upscale culinary environments is a plus
- Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation procedures is required
- Background in food industry roles such as catering, meal preparation, or food service enhances your candidacy
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
