Duties
- Operate tractor-trailers across various routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, handling different types of freight including Dry van loads and BOX TRUCKS.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Utilize manual transmission trucks and specialized equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary
- Manage route driving responsibilities, including route planning for optimal efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch for scheduling updates, load assignments, and delivery instructions
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving, including tractor-trailer operations and delivery routes
- Comfortable operating manual transmission trucks
- Box Truck drivers needs to have to no CDL.
- Ability to load & unload freight independently or with minimal assistance
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards in commercial driving
