Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role located in Aurora, CO for a Barbering Instructor at Summit Barber Academy. The Barbering Instructor will be responsible for teaching and instructing students in the art of barbering, including hair cutting, styling, shaving, and grooming techniques. The Barbering Instructor will provide individualized guidance and assess student progress. They will also oversee practical training sessions and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. The Barbering Instructor will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a passion for teaching.
Qualifications
- Valid state barbering license
- Extensive experience in the field of barbering and men's grooming
- Exceptional knowledge of barbering techniques, tools, and products
- Ability to create and deliver engaging instructional materials; online platform utilized for student content and lesson plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse student populations.
- Prior teaching or training experience is preferred but not required.
