Job purpose
The Quality Assurance Runner / Inspector supports daily operations by helping ensure all vacation home rentals are maintained at the highest company standards. This role performs linen bagging, home inspections, kitchen inventories, scheduled deliveries and pick-ups, and inventory management across assigned properties and internal warehouse. The Runner / Inspector assists with quality assurance checks, documentation, and operational tasks as needed. Flexibility, attention to detail, and a willingness to support field operations are essential to success in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Some of the duties and responsibilities include:
- Understand and achieve company and departmental goals.
- Assist in maintaining departmental metrics.
- Perform scheduled item deliveries and pick ups from properties.
- Assist in assuring that properties are presented in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate with vendors including cleaners, inspectors, laundry service, etc.
- Manage linen inventory. Track inventory, create order requests with appropriate quantities when required, ensure orders are received timely, and verify incoming orders contain all supplies/materials.
- Complete various cleans and inspections at properties as needed.
- Assist in bagging linens for cleaners. This includes sorting incoming bags and preparing new bags. It also includes working outside on a daily basis moving carts of laundry for housekeepers and laundry pick ups.
- Conduct routine property walk-throughs to identify maintenance, cleanliness, safety, or supply issues and report findings promptly.
- Document inspections using company systems, including notes, photos, and follow-up actions as needed.
- Support quality assurance efforts by verifying completed work meets company standards prior to guest arrival (high attention to detail).
- Assist with light maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing batteries, light bulbs, basic troubleshooting) when appropriate.
- Represent the company professionally when on property or interacting with owners, guests, and vendors.
- Perform any other duties or projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Previous vacation rental and/or operation experience is required.

Working conditions
This position requires a flexible schedule and ability to work in Gulf Shores.
Physical requirements
This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time, operate a computer, phone system and other office equipment. Must be able to walk up and down flights of stairs. Must also be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Must be able to see clearly with or without lenses. Must be able to hear clearly with or without aids.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
