About This Role:
The RN position at Lorian offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a skilled and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provides professional nursing care by utilizing all elements of the nursing process.
- Assesses and evaluates patient/client status by:
- Reviewing and implementing the Plan of Care (POC)
- Regularly re-evaluating patient/client needs
- Revising the POC as necessary
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Initiates and applies appropriate preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing procedures and techniques and maintains communication regarding patient/client care with the physician and supervisory personnel.
- Regularly observe the patient/client for changes in condition, discuss changes with the patient/client or family/caregiver and reports changes, as necessary, to the attending physician.
- Assists the patient/client with the activities of daily living and facilitates the patients/clients effort toward self-sufficiency and independence.
- Teaches the patient/client and family/caregiver self care techniques as appropriate.
- Provides medication, diet, and other instructions as ordered by the physician and recognizes and utilizes opportunities for health counseling with patients/clients and families/caregivers.
- Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient/client.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently licensed to practice as a RN in the state of practice.
- If IV or ET certified, is currently certified and recognized by the state(s) where currently practicing as an RN.
- Possesses excellent observation, good nursing judgment, and good oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health. Presents a pre-employment physician’s health clearance, including negative TB skin tests and/or CXR and other tests as required by specific state statutes.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent (within the last three(3) years) experience in a Home Health or Hospice Setting.

This position is based on a Pay per visit compensation model.
Pay per visit ranges from $100-$150 visit commensurate with experience and depending on type of visit. The compensation reflected on this posting is an estimate of yearly compensation.
