Qualifications and Experience:
- Current license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple caseload priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in eligibility meetings, assessments, and the development of intervention strategies
- Maintain clear documentation in accordance with regulatory and district policies
- Offer consultation and professional development to staff on best practices for supporting students' mental health and learning
