Duties
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as manual transmission trucks, Bottles ,transports , flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers to deliver water and sand and freight across designated routes
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary
- Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to ensure punctual arrivals at multiple delivery points
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and compliance with transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports while communicating effectively with dispatch teams
- Ensure the secure handling of freight during transit to prevent damage or loss
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving and cargo handling
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with knowledge of route driving best practices
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission vehicles; experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or tractor-trailers is highly desirable
- Familiarity with freight handling equipment such as forklifts or water trucks is a plus
- Strong understanding of load & unload procedures and safety regulations related to trucking and freight transportation
- Ability to operate various types of trucks including roll-off trucks and tanker trucks safely and efficiently
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance
- Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections as needed

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
