Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Collision Estimator, where you will be the key player in assessing vehicle damage and creating accurate repair estimates to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient workflow. As a Collision Estimator, you will be instrumental in coordinating repairs, communicating with customers and technicians, and ensuring the highest standards of quality in every estimate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess extent of collision-related repairs
- Prepare detailed, accurate auto repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines
- Collaborate with service technicians and body shop staff to determine repair feasibility and parts requirements
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, or other automotive repairs when appropriate
- Manage all aspects of auto estimating including insurance claims processing and service writing
- Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, customer interactions, and repair progress
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or collision center background preferred
- Strong auto service management skills with knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems
- Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes including body repair, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair
- Mechanical knowledge combined with mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical details clearly to customers and team members
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services while maintaining integrity and customer trust

Pay: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
