Experienced Sports Card Breaker (Part-Time / Contract)

About Us
Boston Card Exchange is a rapidly growing sports card company specializing in buying, selling, consignments, and premium sports card products. We're looking for an experienced card breaker to help us expand into live box breaks and deliver a professional experience for our customers.
Position Overview
We are seeking someone who already has experience running sports card breaks and understands the technical, operational, and customer service aspects of the hobby. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has previously broken on platforms such as Whatnot, Fanatics Live, YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook.
Responsibilities
- Conduct live sports card box and case breaks.
- Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and streaming software.
- Interact professionally with customers during live streams.
- Organize cards by team or participant during and after breaks.
- Handle packaging and shipping coordination as needed.
- Assist in developing break formats, pricing, and schedules.
- Help build a high-quality, trustworthy breaking experience and community.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience hosting live sports card breaks.
- Comfortable on camera and engaging with an audience.
- Knowledge of major sports card products (Topps, Panini, Bowman, Upper Deck, etc.).
- Familiarity with Whatnot, Fanatics Live, OBS, or similar streaming platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and integrity when handling valuable cards.
Nice to Have
- Existing social media following or customer base.
- Experience growing a breaking channel or community.
- Experience with shipping, sorting, and fulfillment of break orders.
Compensation
- Hourly pay, plus bonus
