Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Collision Estimator to join our fast-paced automotive repair team. In this vital role, you will evaluate vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, and coordinate with insurance companies and technicians to ensure seamless collision repairs. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service and restore vehicles efficiently while providing a positive experience for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of collision-related repairs.
- Prepare detailed and accurate auto estimating reports using industry-standard software, ensuring all necessary repairs are accounted for.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to facilitate claims processing and ensure estimates meet insurance requirements.
- Coordinate with technicians and body shop staff to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and verify completed work aligns with estimates.
- Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, customer interactions, and repair orders while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes and insurance guidelines
- Hands-on experience with auto estimating software and service writing is essential.
- Familiarity with various vehicle systems
