A full-time contract opportunity is open to support learners by providing essential speech and language services within a dynamic, collaborative educational setting. The role encompasses a 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with onsite support preferred. Virtual candidates may be considered if an onsite SLPA is secured.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech Language Pathology License and/or Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCCs) highly preferred
- Previous experience working in school-based environments is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities
- Commitment to full-time, consistent availability throughout the academic year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify communication needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation in line with regulatory and district requirements
- Engage actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions as required
