Job Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys developing new business, growing existing accounts, collaborating across departments, and providing consultative solutions that help customers succeed.
Business Development & Channel Sales Manager exists to drive profitable revenue growth across online and catalog sales channels. This role is built for a high-performing sales professional who thrives on ownership, accountability, and uncapped earning potential. You will be responsible for winning new business, expanding existing accounts, and building strong partnerships across dealer, catalog, and distribution channels nationwide.
Base Salary: $50,000–$55,000 + Uncapped Commission
Hybrid / Remote | Akron, OH | 25–35% Travel
This is not a passive account maintenance role—this is a growth role.
The right candidate sees a $50–55k base salary as a foundation, with the opportunity to earn significant uncapped commission by growing accounts, opening new channels, increasing customer engagement, and developing long-term partner relationships. High performers can earn 3–4× their base compensation.

What You'll Own
- Drive growth across online, eCommerce, and channel sales initiatives.
- Develop and support dealer, catalog, distribution, and reseller partners.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new distribution relationships.
- Manage the onboarding process for new customers and channel partners to ensure successful implementation and long-term engagement.
- Grow existing accounts through strategic account management, relationship development, and consultative selling.
- Train partner sales teams identify opportunities and win larger, more complex projects.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to develop campaigns, promotions, content, and sales tools that generate revenue and strengthen customer engagement!
- Utilize advanced Excel and analytical skills to monitor sales performance, identify growth opportunities, forecast business trends, and support decision-making!
- Learn and utilize Regency's office design and space-planning software to create professional furniture layouts and workspace solutions!
- Provide office layout and design services that help customers visualize solutions, improve project outcomes, and increase sales opportunities!
- Present furniture recommendations, space plans, and workplace solutions tailored to customer needs and budgets.
- Travel to meet customers, train partners, support projects, and close business!
- Gather and communicate market intelligence that helps shape product development, marketing initiatives, and sales strategies!
What You Bring
- 5+ years of successful sales, business development, account management, or channel sales experience, preferably within the office furniture industry
- Proven track record of growing revenue and expanding customer relationships.
- Experience working with dealers, distribution, or reseller networks
- Strong customer onboarding and account development skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, forecasting, data analysis, and performance tracking
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn office design and space-planning software
- Ability to interpret floor plans, workspace requirements, and customer needs
- Experience with CET, CAP, AutoCAD, Project-Matrix, or similar design software is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and accountable with strong follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
