Command International Security Services is seeking experienced, professional, and dependable Security Officers to help protect our clients, staff, and visitors. Officers will be responsible for conducting foot patrols, identifying suspicious activity, preventing theft and vandalism, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
The ideal candidate is highly observant, confident in handling difficult situations, and capable of exercising sound judgment while representing our company with professionalism and authority.
Position: Security Officer
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to maintain order and establish a visible security presence, completing patrol rounds approximately every 30 minutes.
- Monitor and authorize the entrance of vehicles and individuals onto the property.
- Address and de-escalate conflicts professionally and effectively.
- Remove trespassers or individuals violating property policies when appropriate.
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows at the end of operations.
- Investigate suspicious activities, persons, or possessions.
- Respond promptly to alarms and assess situations appropriately.
- Provide assistance to visitors, tenants, and individuals in need.
- Contact law enforcement when necessary and communicate effectively with emergency responders.
- Complete accurate and detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports documenting all significant occurrences.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Security Officer or Security Guard.
- Bilingual (Fluent in both English and Spanish) REQUIRED.
- Must have open availability and be flexible to work assigned shifts as needed.
- Must be skilled in handling conflict and resolving challenging situations professionally.
- Must be comfortable contacting and coordinating with police when situations require law enforcement intervention.
- Strong report-writing skills with the ability to complete Daily Activity Reports and incident reports accurately.
- Excellent surveillance, observation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of legal guidelines related to security operations and public safety.
Shifts Available: 6am-2pm Monday to Friday // Wednesday to Sunday 7pm-3am
Requirements:
- Valid California Guard Card
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Minimum 7 years of security experience
- Open availability
- Ability to write Daily Activity Reports and incident reports
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
