JD Home Rentals is actively seeking to hire multiple roofers to perform maintenance repairs on residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions.
- Install or repair flashing, gutters, and downspouts
- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety guidelines and building codes
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
Requirements
- Proficient in using power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns
- Experience in trim carpentry to ensure precise fitting of roofing materials
- Experience in remodeling and restoration work to repair or replace damaged roofs
- Proven experience as a roofer or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Must have own truck and tools (Mileage and tool reimbursement is provided)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
