Platinum West Columbia
Platinum West Columbia is looking for a dependable, experienced Building Maintenance Technician to handle the general maintenance, upkeep, and repairs of our club. This is primarily a daytime position.
Pay is $25-$35, depending on skill level.
Responsibilities Include:
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Working confidently with hand and power tools
- Basic lighting and electrical troubleshooting
- Minor plumbing repairs and fixture maintenance
- Painting, drywall, doors, locks, and general repairs
- Monitoring AC/HVAC systems and scheduling service when needed
- Maintaining and coordinating repairs for coolers and refrigeration equipment
- Basic maintenance of bar, kitchen, and club equipment
- Repairing and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and interior areas
- Scheduling and coordinating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other professional contractors
- Identifying maintenance issues before they become costly problems
- Keeping maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts organized
- Tracking repairs, scheduled service, and preventative maintenance
What We're Looking For:
- Previous building, facilities, or general maintenance experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of tools and basic repairs
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to recognize when a repair requires a licensed professional
- Comfortable coordinating and supervising outside vendors
- Able to prioritize repairs and keep the property safe, clean, and operational
Primarily daytime hours.
