Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the juice bar area, adhering to food safety and handling standards
- Engage with customers warmly, offering product recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including ingredient measurement and food handling procedures
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
Experience
- Previous barista or food service experience is preferred, especially within café or retail environments
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
- Experience in the food industry or retail setting is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
