Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Crew Leader to lead a lawn maintenance crew and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Yardvarks’ standards. This is a hands-on role for someone who leads by example, takes pride in their work, and keeps their crew moving.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a lawn maintenance crew on daily routes
- Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and general property maintenance
- Operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related equipment
- Ensure job sites meet quality, safety, and time standards
- Communicate professionally with customers and management
- Train crew members and enforce safety procedures
- Maintain clean, organized trucks, trailers, and equipment
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
- Landscaping or lawn maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lead a team and manage workflow efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
