Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs for very large CNC machine tools at various client locations.
Position: Machine Tool Technician/Mechanic
Location: Erie, PA (75%+ travel to various Customer sites in the USA & Canada) The ideal candidate would be located within 200 miles of Indianapolis, IN.

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team and ensure the operation and maintenance of our Customers’ WALDRICH COBURG vertical milling/turning/grinding machines.
Job Description:
- Perform regular inspections and level/alignment checks on WALDRICH COBURG large CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/technical issues with the machines.
- Repair or replace defective parts as needed.
- Calibrate and align machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to optimize machine performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
- Create detailed reports/records of maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Machine Tool Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Pay Range (based on experience level): $30-$50/hr + competitive benefit package
