About the Role
As a Metal Processing Technician, you will play a vital role in our production facility by ensuring materials are prepared accurately and efficiently. You will utilize your technical skills to operate heavy machinery, contributing directly to the quality and timely delivery of our metal products.
Responsibilities-
Operate industrial metal-cutting equipment, including band saws, plate saws, and shear machines, to meet precise production specifications.

Safely maneuver materials throughout the facility using forklifts or side loaders to maintain a steady workflow.

Perform critical quality control tasks such as deburring and inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet high standards.

Manage inventory flow by assisting with shipping, receiving, and export preparation processes.

Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness in your workspace to promote a safe and efficient environment.

Utilize specialized machinery like waterjets, laser cutters, and PVC machines to support diverse project requirements.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Proven experience operating metal-cutting saws in a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated proficiency in operating forklifts or side loaders.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to operational protocols.

Experience with advanced cutting technologies such as waterjet or laser machinery.

Background in logistics, including shipping, receiving, and material handling.

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
